Manitoba Club was founded in 1874 on the simple principle of providing the finest food, beverage and service experience in the Province -- we honour that principle to this very day. The club boasts one of the City's finest culinary brigades led by Executive Chef Mickaël Cazemayor. The time and care associated with the procurement, handling and preparation of each ingredient that creates your personalized menu is astonishing. Chef Cazemayor's menu items are steeped in centuries of European culinary heritage and are balanced with progressive gastronomic influences and presentations.

Yes, we can accommodate weddings with both a ceremony and reception or standalone wedding ceremonies. Common locations for these include the Grand Ballroom, Oak Room and the Bonnycastle Garden (on select dates).

For any wedding in excess of 120 guests, the Galleria and Grand Ballroom are reserved exclusively for your event. There may be some circumstances when the second floor Oak Room is in use for a separate event. If desired, the entire second floor cans be reserved for your wedding's exclusive use.

There is no typical set-up. Every wedding we host has a unique set of requirements. Our Wedding Coordinator will work with you to design a layout that works best for your style and guest list. We have 60-inch (8 person) and/or 72-inch (10 person) round tables, 8-foot and 6-foot banquet tables, as well as tall cocktail tables and low cruiser tables.

The floating dance floor is constructed in advance of each event and can be located anywhere within the Grand Ballroom. Our experienced Wedding Coordinator can provide suggestions with respect to the best place to set-up the dance floor based upon the final number of confirmed guests. For events in excess of 200 people, the Oak Room can be set-up to accommodate a band or disc jockey to host the dance portion of the event.

The club can accommodate either host bar service, cash bar service or a combination thereof. In the case of host beverage service, you are billed for what your guests consume throughout the evening.

The club's liquor license does not allow commercial wine, which is not purchased by Manitoba Club, to be consumed on its premises. Non-commercial (home or on-premises brewed) wine also cannot be consumed within the club due to the provisions of our liquor licence. Our in-house Sommelier can make recommendations and pairings to your menu or source specially requested products for your event.

The club encourages you to offer your guests selections of entrée items so that they can better enjoy the full Manitoba Club epicurean experience. A small per-person charge is levied for events that offer multiple entrée selections.

Complimentary parking is available for your guests across the street in the Wawanesa Insurance parking lot at 191 Broadway. Guests can leave their cars in the lot overnight, however, they must be moved within 24 hours on weekends or by 7:00 a.m. on weekdays to avoid towing.

Yes, there is a lift located at our Fort Street entrance to bring guests up to the first floor. Once inside we have an elevator to access all event spaces. We also have wheelchair accessible washroom facilities.

Pictures can be taken anywhere in the Grand Ballroom, Galleria and the Grand Staircase on the day of your wedding. Special advance accommodations can typically be made to allow for pictures to be taken in the Bonnycastle Garden, the Oak Room and the Billiards Room. This is an exclusive opportunity only offered to couples hosting their wedding at Manitoba Club.

The club offers white or ivory 100% Polyester VISA Plus™ table linens and napkins at no additional charge. We are happy to source and provide specialty table linens and chair covers upon request from one of our preferred vendors.

Absolutely, these are the perfect solution for presenting a same-day edit by your videographer or custom-made slideshow. This unique offering allows you to share your memories with your guests on your special day.

Yes, Manitoba Club's Food and Beverage Manager and/or Wedding Coordinator will be present throughout your event to ensure it is executed professionally and to the standard of Manitoba Club.

We have very high standards and expect nothing short of the same from our suppliers and vendors, therefore, we have created a database of preferred vendors that have earned our trust over the years. We are pleased to share our list of preferred vendors with any couple that reserves Manitoba Club for their wedding.
