The Manitoba Club offers five (5) distinct categories of membership:
A Resident Member is a member who has paid the full entrance fee to the to Club, who pays such annual dues as the Board may from time to time prescribe and who is thereby entitled to enjoy all the privileges of the Club.
Resident Members are responsible for an annual food assessment based upon annual fees paid.
A Non-Resident Member is a member who:
- does not maintain a residence in Winnipeg or within a one hundred kilometer radius of the city center of Winnipeg;
- has paid the entrance fee applicable to membership in the Club as a Resident or Non-Resident member, and
- has paid the annual dues prescribed for a Non-Resident Member.
A Non-Resident Member shall have all the privileges of a Resident Member except that of being elected to the Board of Governors.
A Non-Resident Member who acquires a residence in Winnipeg, or within a one hundred kilometer radius of the city center, automatically becomes a Resident Member and shall thereupon pay to the Club the difference between the then current entrance fees for a Non-Resident Member and those for a Resident Member, unless the member in question has previously paid the full entrance fees prescribed for a Resident member. Failing such payment, the member shall be deemed to have withdrawn from membership in the Club.
Non-Resident Members are not responsible for an annual food assessment.
A Corporate Member is a member who has paid the full entrance fee the to Club, who pays such annual dues as the Board may from time to time prescribe and who is thereby entitled to enjoy all the privileges of the Club.
The first Member from a corporation is responsible for the full $3,000 entrance fee, with the second Member from the same corporation paying a reduced $2,000 entrance fee, and every member thereafter paying a $1,000 entrance fee.
Corporate Members are responsible for an annual food assessment.
Multiple Member Plan
This new category of membership is intended to promote the Manitoba Club as the place of choice for leading Manitoba businesses' most valued employees. The Member Employee plan has a single Primary Member and allows for up to five (5) additional Employee Memberships for employees of the Primary Member. Specific details are briefly outlined below:
- Individual membership cards
- Individual accounts
- Individual mailings
- Upgrade fee for Primary Member
- Nominal Entrance Fee for each Employee Member
- Reduced Monthly Dues for Employee Members
- Monthly food assessment for Primary and Employee Members
- Full transferability of membership
This is a tremendous opportunity for Members' families to continue their long standing involvement with the pre-eminent business and social club in the province. Under the parameters of this category, the Club invites the sons and/or daughters of Club Members, with in excess of 10-years of membership, to join the Club with no entrance fee requirement - a $1,000 to $3,000 savings, depending upon age category. New Members in this category are activated as full Resident or Non-Resident Members and are responsible for only the annual fees of membership, food assessment and capital fund charge.
