Nestled in downtown Winnipeg at the corner of Broadway and Main and neighbouring Upper Fort Garry Provincial Park, Manitoba Club is Winnipeg’s premier venue for hosting corporate and private events of distinction. The historical club house balances more than 140 years of experience with urban grandeur, culinary excellence and leading meeting/conference technology to create exceptional guest experiences. Manitoba Club offers its members the use of its meeting and event rooms (from 2–450 guests) at no cost.*

Members are welcome to book off-site catering or to host private events (birthdays, wedding showers, celebrations of life and anniversaries and so much more).

The Grand Ballroom is a stunning representation of Manitoba's finest and most well-appointed ballrooms. Tall ceilings adorned with crystal chandeliers, ornate crown molding and detailed wainscoting offer unmatched luxury and elegance. The Grand Ballroom has four inset, large-format screens capable of showing presentations throughout the room. Combined with the room's full black-out capabilities, wireless internet, audio technology and acoustical engineering, the Grand Ballroom is a versatile space for presentations and events.

Grand Ballroom I is the most intimate of the club's ballrooms. Encased within the west wall is a large-format screen for broadcasting presentations. Full wireless internet and audio capabilities make this space the ideal venue for business meetings, special presentations and private dining. The flexibility of this space allows for many different room setups. When combined with the adjacent Bridge Room, the space is ideal for pre-event beverage and hors d'oeuvre services.

The Oak Room is the club's most historic event setting, unchanged in over 100 years. Its quarter-sawn oak paneling, 16-foot tresseled ceiling and soaring views of the Upper Fort Garry Provincial Park and Bonnycastle Garden make it the perfect setting for cocktail receptions and served or buffet-style meals. The Oak Room also features a charming fireplace and bar, both boasting ornate wood detailing & moldings. A portable display, complete with video conferencing capabilities, can be installed in the space to meet your event's specific audio-video requirements.

The Galleria is the perfect setting for elegant cocktail and pre-dinner receptions. Tall ceilings adorned with crystal chandeliers, original works of art and ornate crown molding set the atmosphere of grandeur. Centered around the Grand Staircase and Jubilee stained-glass window this space also features of a built-in bar and baby grand piano.

The Bridge Room is the smallest of the second-floor meeting and event rooms and offers the perfect respite for a small meeting or intimate dining experience. The room is outfitted with an inset display for presentations. The Bridge Room is also used as a pre-event reception room for lunch or dinner events taking place in Grand Ballroom I.

The President's Room is a private room nestled in the club's south-west corner used exclusively for meetings and private dining. It has quickly become a venue of choice among Winnipeg's business leaders. The club would be happy to assist in coordinating the addition of audio/visual equipment to accommodate presentations.

The Fireside Lounge is a private lounge nestled in the south-west corner of the club centred around the warmth of a fireplace and surrounded by original works of art. This lounge is ideal for private entertaining, casual meetings and receptions.

Bonnycastle Garden is Manitoba Club's very own urban oasis in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. This ground-level outdoor setting features lush plantings, string lighting and the finest views of historic Upper Fort Garry Provincial Park. The garden's natural setting is ideal for special occasions, cocktail receptions and private dining.

The Billiards Lounge remains virtually unchanged since its inception in the early 1900s. The six regulation size snooker tables offer the single best cue sports lounge in the Province of Manitoba. Above the oak wall paneling are portraits of the Manitoba Club's past presidents, dating back to 1874. Combine this with the antique high-back banquettes, and private members' only cue storage room, this is the venue of choice for relaxed, corporate team-building and networking events. The Billiards Lounge can be reserved for events of many types -- from short six-ball, timed tournaments to fun, instructional sessions. Our in-house Snooker & English Billiards Professional is available to assist with planning and executing any billiards-related events for groups of virtually any size.

The club's Business Centre is for our member's exclusive use as a dedicated workspace in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. Open daily at 7:00 a.m., this location offers the finest mix of a semi-private workspace in an atmosphere indicative of Manitoba Club. The Business Centre features a central work station that can be sub-divided into up to eight semi-private work stations with privacy glass. The room has two dedicated computer workstations (PC and Mac) for member use. The perimeter of the space features soft seating appropriate for reading the newspaper or catching up on calls and email along with charging stations and a wireless printer. Formerly the Library, the original fireplace mantle has been carefully restored.

The cigar sampling room is available to reserve by members for private group use with a capacity of 14 people. The number of guests allowable for group use will be no more than 50% of seated room capacity, therefore, space will always be available for club members who may drop into the cigar retail and sampling room.

Note that as per The Non-Smokers Health Protection Act and the conditions of the Tobacco Retail Sales Act, only cigar products sold by Manitoba Club | Cigar will be permitted to be tested and sampled within the space (including private humidors).
